Retrospective Tales

My life as a commissioned artist started in the late eighties and has been varied to say the least, from painting offshore racing powerboats to designing estate maps, and from painting murals to adorning furniture with wildlife and flowers.

My illustrations have captured so many different subjects; from birds & buildings in Britain to a leopard on a lavatory & orphaned baby elephants abroad. I will be journaling some of the tales of my artistic journey in the future, maybe a blog or a book. The tales go from being locked in a client's house because of an armed car jacking to getting lost when walking an estate for a map and coming across what looked like three witches' hats!

As well as the more funny times of turning people and their pets into cartoons, over the years I have commemorated the births of babies through my art and celebrated many marriages with illustrations. My artwork, in the form of a 'life map' has even been displayed, with affection, at the funeral of a cherished client.

As an artist, I feel that art is an integral part of my life, and I hope that I can bring the beauty, delight and love which art conveys, into your lives and homes.
