Workshops, tutoring & Artist-in-residence
I have had the pleasure of tutoring both children and adults over the years.
As well as running workshops in a variety of locations both indoors and outdoors, I have also tutored home educated children and children who wanted to explore their own artistry outside of school. Adults who were beginning on their art journey & those who wanted to rekindle a long forgotten artistic passion.
"Sarah would appear at our front door with armfuls of acorns and sycamore seeds, pastels, charcoals, paints and chicken wire, with which our children would freely express their creativity... the children were free to explore with someone who lived and breathed the visual world and could share with them her experience. It opened doors in their minds that otherwise wouldn’t have been opened, and just happened to be enormous fun as well’"

Annual Art & Drama Workshops at Bedales Junior School, Dunhurst
I had such fun over so many years helping a multitude of children create props, costumes and artwork for their drama performance at the end of a very busy week. I worked alongside two wonderfully creative souls; drama teacher Jenny de Jongh and ceramicist Annabel Munn.
